problem

Teams running on the internal OpenStack cloud needed Kubernetes. A cluster that each team builds and runs itself scales poorly, and its fault tolerance depends on that team’s experience.

what I did

I architected and launched a fully managed Kubernetes service on OpenStack, so teams consume Kubernetes as a service instead of building it.

The service improved the scalability and fault tolerance of the internal cloud.
